Director of the Benson Creative District, where she leads community-powered projects that blend public art, youth engagement, and neighborhood development. A longtime Benson resident, Annie has been involved with BFF Omaha since its very first First Friday in 2012. She managed a Benson business for over a decade, serves on the board of the Benson High School Design & Construction Academy, and is an unofficial, non-voting member of the Benson Improvement District. Annie’s background in sociology shapes her people-first approach to creative infrastructure, and when she’s not running a meeting or planning a parade, she’s usually at the ballfield watching her son Percy play for Benson Little League.

"I have lived in the Benson area for 25 years, becoming involved with the BNA as an empty-nester. I have been on the BNA board for 13 years, serving in every capacity. It has been a great way to meet neighbors and business owners while helping to promote and improve our neighborhood."
Lisa Sock Vice President A consultant to nonprofit organizations, helping them shape their communications, fundraising and advocacy efforts. She's lived in the Benson area for nine years. "I bought my first home in Benson 3 years ago- what a thrill homeownership can be, eh?! I've always been wired to be plugged in to community and it has been fun to find that in easy east Omaha living. Because supporting small and social media are fun passion projects for me it only made sense to join the board and help run our socials while trying to find ways to make sure our businesses thrive." By day Cassie is a boring business analyst, kicking and screaming her way back into data analytics. You can regularly find her at the gym, hanging with her pups or scrolling Zillow (because a girl can dream about a mint condition MCM home in the area, can't she?!)
